What are you looking for?
One of the first decisions to make when purchasing a golf cart is whether you want something new or used. While purchasing a used cart may save you money, a new one will typically come with a warranty that makes it worth the added investment.
Recharge? Or Refill?
Electric carts are powered by rechargeable batteries that will need to be replaced about every 5 years. They are typically quieter than gas-operated carts, but battery life can vary depending on speed or accessories (radio, lights, etc.) that are used in operation. A good battery can provide about 25-40 miles of travel on one charge, depending on configurations.
Gas-operated carts always bring more resale than electric carts. They use unleaded gasoline and run much longer on one 6 gallon tank of gas than any fully charged battery. A new gas-operated Yamaha Drive2 will get you an average of 261 miles between fill-ups. The average horse power of a gas-operated cart means faster acceleration and more power for transporting passengers and equipment. Yamaha makes the quietest gas cart ever built, and we’ve got them in stock!
